The Bond Between
Judaism and Israel |

The connection between Judaism and Israel has long, deep, historic
roots. The holy Torah clearly shows, that the land of Israel
belongs to the Jewish people, and that the great fathers of the
Jewish nation – Avraham, Yitzhak and Yaakov – lived in "Kenaan"
land (which is Israel of nowadays). |

Torah True Judaism, a
phrase I’ve never quite understood is bandied about at every
which way, and has become part of the Jewish nomenclature. It
is a pejorative platitude in that it seeks to be elitist and
exclusionary. It is a judgmental cliché in that its subtext
insinuates that anyone not subscribing to that particular
understanding of Torah is not the genuine article and not
welcome in the club. |

In Acts 26:5 and
Galatians 1:13 there is a description of how God has entered
into relationships with Jews which later resulted in Judaism,
or as the Apostle calls it, the religion of the Jews. And
although it is know that the major religions of the world are
Christianity, Islam, and Judaism, labeling Judaism solely a
religion is an incorrect notion, and harms the understanding
of the Judaism and Jews. |

The root of the word " Torah" is the verb "to instruct". Torah's
primary function is to teach us how to live Jewishly, in harmony
with G-d's will. As such, the basic levels of scriptural
interpretation lead to a practical understanding of mitzvot and
